Stowood Scientific Instruments Ltd (Stowood), a limited company based at Oxford, specialises in the development and manufacturing of equipment and software for both laboratory and home for sleep diagnostics and research, oximetry analysis, and for making performance and snoring measurements. Stowood focuses on customer service and ensuring that its products are appropriate for purpose rather than being solely dictated by reimbursement rules.

As well as the other devices, we now support Nonin 3150 WristOx2, 2500 Palmsat, 7500 Table Top, Creative PC-68B, Sentec CO2 monitor, Masimo Radical 7 Touch new firmware. 16/9/14 - RemLogic 3.4.1 is released by Embla. The new version includes: Increased sampling frequency for online recordings with the Embletta MPR, an added Workspace for MPR PG recordings in the non licensed version. The RemLogic 3.4.1 installation transparently upgrades RemLogic 2.0 and higher. Let us know if you are interested.

19/11/13 - Stowood Scientific Instruments Ltd. wins the inaugural "Distributor of the Year" award at Medica 2013 from Natus Neurology Inc. (parent company of Embla, Grass Technologies, Nicolet et al.). The award was accepted by Stowood's System Manager, Paul Gladding.
Successors to the Snorometer and Grey Flash, the new Visi Black series headboxes are the portable versions of Visi. They record respiratory PSGs and their audio, sensors, and resolutions meet and exceed the AASM recommendations.
The Visi Black Shadow is the complete system: headbox/recorder with oximeter probe, microphone, patient sensors/ transducers with SD card and wireless communication for download, review, reporting and editing. It includes synchronised IR video and an app for Android phones.
The Visi Black Flash is the upgradeable starter model, measuring oximetry, nasal airflow, body position, movement, sound level and audio. Black Flash Plus additionally measures respiratory effort and airflow via thermistry.
