|||||
| The original OSLER test is the simplest test to assess daytime sleepiness - a behavioural version of the MWT.
A small LED is lit for 1 second in every three, and the subject is required to respond each time. Software controls the LED, stores the response and alerts the technician when the subject fails to respond. No EEG interpretation is required! The wireless, self-contained OSLER-2 allows testing independent of a computer in the lab, or at the patients home. The LCD display shows the test termination timing and the number of missed events, whilst the data can be downloaded online or to a computer later. Also included is the facility to perform both visual and audible Multiple Unprepared Reaction Time (MURT) tests. Click here to open a brochure for the OSLER-2 Refs: Bennett L.S. et al J.
