The Visi-3 headbox is a 7 channel addition to the Patient Unit which allows EEG level signals (EEG/ EOG/ EMG Submental - chin / EMG legs) to be recorded using the Visi system in addition to the usual respiratory channels.

The signals are recorded with up to 256 Hz sampling rates, filters for low, mains and high frequency are available and they can be analysed either with the neural network software or edited manually to produce a hypnogram by either AASM or R&K rules.

With the hypnogram, the analysis is automatically extended to include the occurrence of respiratory events by sleep stage.
